The Darfur Genocide

The genocide in Darfur never ended.

In 2019, the people of Sudan overthrew a 30-year dictator. They drafted a democratic constitution. It was a chance to stop the violence for good.

Instead, the global community stepped in and handed power back to the militia commanders.

Darfur sits on Africa's fifth-largest gold reserve. The Masalit, Fur, and Zaghawa people live on top of it. The militias from 2003 are accelerating the systematic destruction of the Darfuri people to take the land.

The genociders could not continue to operate without the world's support.

The gold leaves. The weapons arrive. The people die. The world turns away. The leaders collect their bounties.

These 50 entities run the supply chain.
